Philips Design’s establishment of the Co-creation Experience has helped the company develop a personal connection with members of the ‘Philips Design Friends Group’, now comprising more than 200 people who proactively offer insights and ideas including ongoing dialogue concerning their habits and behaviors in this virtual space. Philips Design has held a series of gatherings and presentations within Second Life introducing a number of themes that promote discussion and dialogue within the ‘Philips Design Friends Group’. A specific study gathered valuable information on a continuous basis via a flexible on-line blogging tool to which participants add their own thoughts and ideas, and can ask additional questions of the group, at their own convenience. Members of the group report enjoying their involvement in this method of research, continuing to provide feedback even after one study ended.

Unter dem Titel „Kultur, Business und Kommerz“ diskutieren unter der Leitung von Mihu Janus vier bis fünf illustre Gäste über den Themenbogen. Die Diskussion wird sich um grundsätzliche Fragen, um den digitalen Alltag in SecondLife und letztendlich auch um das reale Leben drehen.

VWCI is a piece of hardware and software that on one hand solves the problem of ‘talking’ to the various protocols in building automation (LON, KNX, Enocean, ZigBee, CANOpen, Profibus, Modbus…..) and on the other hand links RL buildings to SL to allow for a drastic improvement on facility management processes, reducing the carbon imprint of everything from commercial buildings, individual homes to shopping malls, industrial facilities, and more.

We mix RL and SL world with video program like Jazzbaragge.ch live from Zurich : people can have a look on the RL club in SL and people inside the RL club see SL on big screen inside the RL club, not clear ? but really amazing ! test it !
SL is not a game for us, it’s a new way of interactiv media ! We generaly make partnership only with RL company, association, or university .“
